Hedera's Distributed Ledger Technology

Hedera, and more specifically the underlying Hashgraph algorithm, is the most advanced and stable distributed ledger technology (DLT) on the market today. Most consider Hedera to be the first and only 3rd generation L1 protocol expected to replace popular protocols such as Binance-SmartChain and Ethereum. With a leaderless, aBFT, proof-of-stake algorithm at the heart of Hashgraph, Hedera is the only DLT in existence that truly comes to finality with each fair-ordered transaction.

Hedera Is Net Zero

Hedera is ideal because it is being carbon neutral. Hedera has been evaluated as the greenest Proof-of-Stake (PoS) ledger by the Centre for Blockchain Technology (CBT) of the University College of London (UCL). Hedera scores the most green, with 0.04 Wh per transaction, lower than all the other PoS networks, non-PoS networks like Bitcoin, or non-DLT networks like Visa.
